Prayer to St Pio of Pietrelcina
O God, You gave St Pio of Pietrelcina,
Capuchin priest, the great privilege of participating,
in a unique way, in the passion of Your Son.
Grant us, through his intercession, the graces
which we ardently desire,
and above all, grant the grace of living in conformity
with the death of Jesus, to arrive at the glory
of the resurrection.
Glory be to the Father.........3 times
Glory be to the Father.........3 times
Memorare
Remember, O most compassionate Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that anyone who fled to
your protection, implored your help, or sought
your intercession was left unaided. Inspired with
this confidence we fly to you, O Virgin of
virgins, our Mother. To you we come, before
you we kneel, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of
the Word Incarnate despise not our petitions, but
in your clemency hear and answer them. Amen
Prayer to St. Michael
Holy Michael, the Archangel, defend us in the
day of battle. Be our safeguard against the
wickedness and snares of the devil. May God
rebuke him we humbly pray and do thou prince
of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust
down Satan and all wicked spirits who wander
through the world for the ruin of souls. Amen
Prayer for England
O Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God and our
most gentle Queen and Mother, look down on
England thy dowry and upon us all who greatly
hope and trust in thee. By thee it was that Jesus,
our Saviour, and our hope, was given unto the
world, and He has given thee to us that we might
hope still more. Plead for us, thy children,
whom thou didst receive and accept at the foot of
the cross, O Sorrowful Mother. Intercede for our
separated brethren, that with us in the one true
fold they may be united to the Chief Shepherd,
the Vicar of thy Son. Pray for us all, dear
Mother, that by faith fruitful in good works, we
may all deserve to see and praise God together
with thee in our heavenly home. Amen
